INTRODUCTION, packing course, helicopter jump and ropejump

Basejumping 101 is made for skydivers who want to know more about BASE jumping before taking on the adventure of their first jump. During this day-long course, you will have the opportunity to learn how to pack your base equipment and jump it from a helicopter.

The goal is to provide general information about the sport and the ways to begin safely, but also to give you the opportunity to understand how your gear works in order to prepare you for the next level.

We also give you the option of safely experiencing the feeling of a base exit thanks to our partner Bungy Niouc who is offering Basejumping 101 participants a special deal on their ropejump.

STAGE 1

theory

General introduction to basejumping: definition, history and legality Understanding basejumping equipment

The different paths to start BASE jumping: FJC, mentors, others.

The dangers of BASE jumping: incidents and risks assessment.

Q&A: ask your questions and we will answer them.

STAGE 2

PRACTICE

Packing lesson & supervision

Helicopter jump using your own BASE gear packed by yourself

STAGE 3

rope jumps

optional

Basejumping 101 participants are offered the special price of 80 CHF per jump instead of 210 CHF.

Our partner Bungy Niouc offers the possibility to simulate a basejump: the ropejumping system gives you 6 seconds of freefall in dead air, reproducing the exact same feeling as a basejump!

You will jump a harness similar to a base rig to practice your exit and pilot chute throw.
